Take a picture by their own Ectomobile, check out all their ghost busting gear and enjoy an Ecto Cooler cocktail while watching fan favourite episodes of the Real Ghostbusters cartoon and the original classic Ghostbuster film! Did we mention a free concert featuring Richie Young and Run the River? Join us Friday, October 21st from 6:00pm to Midnight for all this and more at Ectoberfest!
RUN THE RIVER
We are Run the River, a five-piece alternative rock band based out of Fredericton, New Brunswick. Fresh off our debut release (The Shiftwork EP), we’re excited to finally be able to share our music with live audiences now that pandemic restrictions are being rolled back. Our music is rooted in rock, but we happily embrace folk and pop elements and count the Tragically Hip, Wintersleep, Said the Whale and Mt. Joy among our many musical influences.
RICHIE YOUNG
Richie Young is based in the city of Fredericton, New Brunswick. His music is largely inspired by the rock music of the 1960s and 1970s. Richie is a one man band bringing you the heat with his voice, guitar, harmonica and keys all simultaneously while carrying the beat with his feet on a bass drum and custom designed snare that he fabricated with his own bare hands.
He spent 2019 touring Ontario, playing festivals such as Harvest Jazz and Blues, Evolve, and the Living Roots Festival. He is a regular in the New Brunswick music scene and can be found playing many clubs and halls around the province.
